3-0 against rivals Cheltscum, I'll take that all day long. Good to see Waide Fairhurst score a brace on debut, be interesting to see how he gets on during his loan spell seeing as jake jervis has been poor since his arrival on loan!
We Are Staying Up!!!

Such a good performance today, and Fairhurst especially was incredible. Would love to see him stay longer than the month we have him here for, but I can't see it being likely judging by just how good a player he is! The same can be said for young Harry Pell; he played an incredible match. Really deserved that goal he almost got too. Hereford don't deserve to be as low as they are in the table. Our recent form is amazing, and we're beating a lot of the big clubs in the division, or at least giving them a good run for their money, it's just a shame that the start of our season was so poor and now our position is reflective of that, and not our current form at all. Still, as long as we keep Pitman in charge, we're going all the way! Playoffs, maybe? Just about....

Good to hear that Fairhurst had a good game, two goals on debut is quite a feet! Yeah i agree i really rate Pell, he gives us so much presence in midfield and he's got great vision too, think he brings alot out of fleets as well! all encouraging signs anyway, play offs would be a huge ask but i mean with our current form, only time will tell!

Have to agree, Harry Pell is a much needed asset in the Hereford squad. They're losing a lot of possession off goal kick due to the lack of tall players. Seems as though we win the ball a lot more when Pell is on the pitch.
In the summer Hereford need to try and secure some longer term players instead of getting the odd decent player on short loans!

It happened for years under turnip, we would get a new squad every year and rely on loan players throughout the season to bolster our squad. Will be interesting to see what Pitman does at the end of the season regarding players, cant imagine he has many contacts in the game. Not sure that one month loan moves are the way forward for us!

All you have to do is look at the promotion squad a couple of years ago. The squad could have easily contested a decent place in league one, but as pretty much the entire squad was made up of loaned players, it was never to be!

I think there are definitely a few key players that are needed to stay for the season, if not longer, to help hold the team together. In my opinion, players like Green - who has recently signed a long-term contract, thankfully - Lunt, Kovacs, Purdie and Fleetwood, amongst a few others, are all lads that need to be part of the Hereford squad through thick and thin. They seem to be the most committed, consistent, experienced and "true Hereford" players. Loaned players seem to work well though. Of course, having a team composed nearly entirely of loaned or short-term deal players will never work as there is no stability, but bringing in loaned players when needed is vital as the season changes and different things are needed from different players for different things. But yeah, I really hope we don't change the squad too much for next season, as our current squad seems to be one of the strongest in a long time, and I hope we can sort out some longer deals with players like Pell and Fairhurst. Pell especially has such a bright future ahead of him, just look at how good he is and yet how young!

Just seen the goals on the football league show, Fairhurst took his very nicely, just hope people aren't expecting too much from him now, scoring 2 goals on his debut could put a lot of pressure on him on the remaining games to try and do the same.

The same seemed to happen with Manset when he first joined; scored a blinder just after coming on and then was disappointing for the rest of the season. Of course, he developed into an incredible player the next season, but the fans were so impressed with his first performance that we all assumed that he was going to score at least a goal every match from then on, which didn't happen at all...
